In today’s competitive marketplace, success is increasingly driven by expertise in technology. Best-in-class technology platforms enable companies to efficiently market products around the world. You don’t have to be a nerd. If you are interested in technology, there are incredible opportunities available. This is probably the most sought after area across multiple industries.  You will find IT careers across all industries and employers.

Technology solutions are built on a rich collection of enterprise and client platforms that attempt to unify and standardise approaches to development, testing, workflow, user interfaces, the Web and more.

At the core of any organisation, infrastructure engineers design scalable hardware solutions to ensure the enterprise can meet the needs of the business, worldwide, 24×7.

New hires and senior technologists work together in a flat structure where “the best idea wins.” Individual initiative is encouraged, and responsibility is doled out to foster dynamic, thinking out of the box skills.

Given the ever-changing nature of technology, teams need to adapt and respond to change quickly, while actively pursuing new opportunities. Skill-sets must change in response to the dynamic character of the industry. Professional employment options are endless: Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Engineering Business Analysts.

There are two widespread areas:

  1. Development Teams: They design, develop and maintain applications used by business units. Daily activities include meeting with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. Developers ascertain system architecture, re-evaluate old structures, integrate new software, and develop solutions to bugs flagged by customers, test applications in sample markets, and maintain software.

Their focus is creating high-performing, low-latency electronic systems, evolving complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities.

  1. Infrastructure Teams: Infrastructure-facing teams develop cutting-edge systems to run businesses. Engineers provide applications tools and platforms such as computing hardware, networks, operating systems and databases for a variety of applications, be it mobile applications , or other end-user applications.

Key Skills: Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related technology/science/engineering discipline is useful but not essential. It would be helpful if you have experience with at least one programming language: e.g., Java, C++, Python or C#. You should have excellent problem-solving as well as analytical tendencies, displaying your enthusiasm for industrial science through high-quality work output.
